On September 21st (02) my wife Hiroko was invited to sing at the fund raising pop concert of the Japanese Methodist Church of Sacramento.  We were overjoyed to have Judy and Nikita come to hear her sing.  Its over 8 years since we last met.

In between the music and my fiddling with the camera and the Mini Disc recorder (as I was designated the recorder by 7 of the participating artists), we enjoyed each other's company.  Judy graciously assisted me with the recording when I had to work on the camera.  Going back to the school days was not difficult at all.

After the concert we were all invited to the jam session at the organizer's home where we met Joy Agi from St. Maurs (she is one of the winner singing "Kawano nagare no youni" at NHK Nodojiman at San Francisco of this July 13th - broadcast in Japan on July 14th).  Her husband was also in Japan and knows intimately of the area where Nikita was born in Kobe.  More to our surprise, he knows of Ravil !!  As soon as we have more information, we will have them posted here.

September 21st became a great day for us despite the 100 F heat in Sacramento and I was drooling over Dolmatoff's mobile resort home - a very comfortable and luxurious but compact RV that he drove in to show us.
